Most beekeepers render their beeswax to what we refer to as " first stage rendering " which usually is a crude process that leaves a lot of suspended particulate and honey in the beeswax. What sets our beeswax apart from other beeswax is our gentle, simple, yet effective cleaning process that cleans the beeswax to #1 candle grade while leaving the therapeutic properties of the beeswax intact.

All our beeswax is food grade, pharmaceutical grade and cosmetic grade.

Our beeswax is ideal for making cosmetics, lip balms, creams, and lotions.

Our beeswax is also suitable for making beeswax food wraps.

Beeswax mixed with damar resin is used to make encaustic medium, which when mixed with pigment is used in encaustic art.

Our current inventory of natural beeswax is a deep rich, full bodied yellow reminiscent of dandelions in the Spring.

NOTE:  the size of our blocks are changing from 42 pound (19 kg) blocks to 30 pound (13.6 Kg) blocks.  The 42 pound blocks will be removed from the website when they are sold out and replaced with the 30 pound blocks.

CUTTING BLOCKS
To cut blocks of beeswax into smaller pieces it is recommended to keep the block in the box that it arrives in, and use a 1" wood chisel and a short handle 3 lb. sledge hammer.
